BMW E30 tubular trailing arms designed and built in house
This Jig was built as a template of stock OE arms
Fabricated arms installed on vehicle
checking wheel and tire backspacing
the bearing plate was redesigned for more compression travel
I designed and built these trailing arms, which are stronger and lighter then the originals, there will be a toe adjustment on the final product with camber being adjusted on the subframe at the inboard pick up point for better anti-squat. the bushings will be replaced with heim joints. the process starts with making a jig of a pair of strait stock trailing arms, in this instance I used a bolt on wheel bearing assembly from a later model BMW to make the design and service simpler.
BMW E36 Winters Quickchange Ssubframe modification and plate set developed in house JSP
Formula Drift allows only Stock modified subframes and when a stronger differential is needed the WInters Unit allows for fast gear ratio changes... I developed this plate set and modify these suframes to accept this differential.
cross over tube or plate to avoid spreading at the bottom
differential is very large and is moved up as far as possible
pinion angle is set precisely
basic suspension, rear of differential
this is the final plate set tacked into place before final welding
BMW E30 Strut Bar
these are strut bars I designedand built for the BMW E30 Chassis.. these tie the strut towers together in order to stiffen up the front of the chassis and limit deflection in the front end of the vehicle
