Jak Stoll

I am a master level automotive technician/diagnostician with over 40 years of experience. I currently hold ASE Master, ASE L1 certifications and many others. I am also a welder fabricator and manual machinist. I build, repair and tune performance automobiles, I have a small but well equipped shop which allows me to perform any aspect of my work from prototyping and fabricating custom car parts, engine building, transmission and differential building, tubing bending and fabrication, Sheetmetal fabrication, turbocharging and supercharging, exhaust systems including custom headers, installation of stand alone engine management systems and custom wiring harnesses suspension and steering setup including four link suspension installation, tubular front and rear chassis reinforcement/protection

At my core I am a problem solver .. this is at the root of everything I do

In the early 1990s I I worked on American Muscle cars and performance off road trucks I built performance engines, Jetted carburetors and performed ignition optimization using distributor curve kits so the understanding of engine tuning goes way back for me..

in my decades in the field I have been a part of everything from Muscle car, Off road, Swedish and Asian Performance builds to Porsche and BMW Motorsport and am very capable and enthusiastic about all of it ..

My experience as an engine management diagnostician led me into engine tuning engine management many years ago. I started off logging data with a graphing multimeter back pinning individual sensors, using pen and paper to record data, logging one or two parameters at a time.

I started Jak Stoll Performance in the early 2000s and pioneered Saab tuning in the USA. I would still love to work with the Saab community.. The first systems I worked with were very simple fuel only systems with ROM containing 4kb of data, this involved searching a Hex file for maps, changing values and logging data to determine the outcome of the changes. The early Hex tuning I performed was using a prom burner and UV light to erase Eprom chips. over time I worked my way into more complex systems which control all aspects of engine management .. I have worked with many aftermarket stand alone systems as well as other original equipment automobile engine management systems over the years....

I am available for whatever tuning / programming needs you may have as well as fabrication and restoration work. Please contact me if you can make use of my skill set. If you have other questions or requests on tuning, fabrication and performance please email me, call or text my phone:
